We are delighted to announce that our own Corned Beef has recently been awarded a 3 star gold in the Guild of Fine Foods 2011 Great Taste Awards.

It also scored 100/100 in a National Butchery competition in the South of England earlier this year. First produced almost 4 years ago this exceptional product has a fantastic flavour and just the right balance of salt and has already gained quite a following by word of mouth alone.

Hand made using a traditional meat press the corned beef takes a great deal of time to make daily, time which we are happy to invest to bring you such a unique product. Made using the finest dry aged locally reared beef and natural gelatine it is not possible to make by machine as all the fat and connective tissue needs to be carefully removed by hand. A tinned variety was sold along side it at the beginning, but we've since had to stop stocking it as everyone preferred the Real McCoy!
