Permanent Full Time Experienced Butcher             

This is an exciting opportunity for a Experienced Butcher with a passion and flair for food to work for our award winning business. 

Place of work:  56-62 Main Street, Moira, Co. Down, BT67 0LQ

Hours: Day time hour’s 44 hours per week / 5 days Mon to Sat on a rota basis. (Off Sundays along with an alternate weekday as dictated by rota). 08.00 Start Monday to Friday & 07.30 Start on a Saturday. Finish time is generally between 5.30pm and 6pm daily depending on workload. Please note all Butchery staff are required to work the Sunday before Christmas each year. 4 Weeks Holiday per year plus 8 Statutory Days. Monthly Wages.


  • Serving Customers at our Butchery Counter whilst providing a high level of customer service.
  • Preparing of meats and manufacturing of value added products.
  • Maintaining attractive product displays
  • Stock Control & Rotation, Product Display
  • Completion of Cleaning Schedules and in House Paperwork
  • Candidates should be able to manage and prioritise own workload whilst helping others.
  • Candidates should be able and willing to learn in other areas of the business & be capable of helping us maintain our high standards of 5* hygiene rating.
  • Work on Delicatessen Counter every 6th Week (Full training will be given)


  • Fully Qualified Butcher
  • Flair and passion for food
  • Team player
  • Good with Customers
  • Able to respond to instruction and follow company policy.
  • Basic hygiene certificate preferred but not essential
  • Experience working in a food environment preferred
  • Good Time Keeping Essential
